My first event!

To those of you who don’t know, I went to my first event on Saturday, July 12th. I was unbelievably nervous, but I was met with the most welcoming authors and attendees. I had a wonderful time and I owe it to Rendezvous with Romance for putting on such a lovely event.

On a somewhat personal note, I don’t like to make videos or speak in public, especially when I’m nervous, because I have a speech impediment.

When I get frazzled, I stutter and stammer and it’s impossible to get words out, but I was really proud of myself for maintaining tons of conversations with interested readers and fellow authors. So you know, the little wins feel like the biggest ones.

I received a ton of positive feedback for my bookmarks and charms, which I make in my guest bedroom. It takes me about 4 hours per big bookmark including curing times and it was worth it!

Now just a few housekeeping things.
